Lynn Manderson
In my 20-year practice as a licensed drug and alcohol addiction counselor I have seen how the unresolved trauma can contribute to relapse. But I have seen how well-paced trauma interventions based in somatic therapies can move clients into healing as they gain the ability to trust their clinician, who provides a consistently safe space for comfort as they share the uncomfortable. Honoring their journey is the greatest gift , and kindness embodies all connection that works to create new lives by their own design and often a miraculous transformation that the both of us are amazed by.
I believe it is important to study all co-occurring systems and how they operate to better understand how addiction prolongs ongoing suffering. I also play music with 5 CDs released out of Nashville, as a lead guitar player and slide virtuoso and have used music to engage happiness and bring spiritual energy into lonely energy with faith for the faithless. Recently I became a certified Career coach to further my goal of leading clients into the vision for their life.
