Medication and Recovery Support
We recognize that medications can play an essential role in supporting recovery, managing co-occurring conditions, and improving quality of life. We support the use of evidence-based pharmacotherapy, including medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD), mental health stabilization, and physical health needs, as part of an individualized treatment plan.
All prescribed medications must be reviewed and documented by staff in coordination with medical providers to ensure safe administration, proper storage, and continuity of care. While we value holistic and spiritual approaches, we do not view medication and spirituality as mutually exclusive. Clients are supported in making informed decisions about their treatment in collaboration with their healthcare providers and care team.
We maintain a secure medication storage system and a clear protocol for self-administration, in accordance with licensing standards and the level of care provided. Our goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where all aspects of a client’s recovery, including medication, are treated with dignity, privacy, and professionalism.
